STATES UNITED (5) First up and dictated the tempo when winning by a margin of 1L first up last preparation at Laurel Park. Erik Barbaran usually performs well for this stable. No surprise to see a forward showing and one of the main hopes in this race. DEADPAN (8) First up and amongst the placegetters when 2nd beaten by 2L first up last preparation at Colonial Downs. Challenged by a tougher grade. Can't knock.
